When it comes to dating, here are some signs to look out for that are an indication of dating violence in a relationship:

  1. The person you are dating is jealous, possessive and constantly checking up on you
  2. Screams, yells and constantly puts you down, talking negatively to you
  3. The person is violent, grabs, hits, pushes or shoves you
  4. Brags about mistreating others, loses their temper easily, has a history of fighting
  5. Makes all the decisions in an attempt to control you
